Reading
your LR.

The docket number is the reference HRL books the consignment against.

It is printed on the lorry receipt given at booking and quoted on the invoice. Enter it exactly as printed — most are numeric, and a manual docket number works too.

  • Booked — the consignment is on HRL’s books at the origin branch
  • Dispatched — it has left the origin branch on a vehicle
  • In transit — the last branch that reported it
  • Delivered — a delivery event has been recorded; ask the branch for the available acknowledgement

Records update as branches scan and report, so a movement in the last few hours may not show yet. For account statements, invoices and LR copies, use the customer portal or call 78800 03224.

Delivered. Acknowledged.

HRL provides digital proof of delivery (POD): the acknowledgement associated with a cargo handover.

A POD can contain a delivery date and recipient acknowledgement or signature, depending on the record available. Your LR identifies the booking; tracking describes its recorded progress; POD supports the delivery handover.

Check your POD: account or WhatsApp

Log in to your HRL customer account to check available digital POD, or contact HRL on WhatsApp with your LR/docket number. If a delivery record is not yet available, your handling branch can assist.

WhatsApp updates through the journey

HRL sends WhatsApp messages for LR booking, delivery and multiple shipment milestones as movement updates are recorded. Provide the correct contact number at booking and use the docket number in any support enquiry.

Need help with an update?

If the docket is not found or an update needs clarification, check the number against your LR and contact the branch. If delivery is recorded but your team cannot locate the goods, check the agreed receiving point and ask HRL to review the handover. Public tracking is not live vehicle GPS.
